Troy Moth is an artist from Tahsis, British Columbia. His work attempts to confront his family history and transform his relationship to nature as Moth's family logged Vancouver Island’s coastal forests for generations. Moth works with discarded salvaged wood or photographs moments where the Pacific Northwest forest floor becomes a character in of itself.

Troy Moth’s award-winning photographer and director. He exhibited internationally and is part of many corporate and institutional collections including the Art Gallery of Victoria. He has collaborated with publications like Rolling Stone and Vogue. His recent work as a filmmaker has been showcased at festivals around the globe. Troy has received many awards including, Magenta Flash Forward, Applied Arts, and Toronto Alternative Film Festival for best director.
